Our Lady of Lourdes and the Spanish Hair Cut
Hi,
Just a quick post (read the Paris one below it) to let you know that I am doing a potentially dangerous thing. I am going out of my way and back into Spain to get a Spanish haircut and I think that some you might hate it. It's a little bit like a femullet, but way better, I promise.
Except for a few instances, every time I saw a girl in Spain sporting one of these hair cuts I thought she was cool and wanted to look like her. I really should have got one then but I was too scared to and I thought I would have more time to think it over and then get one if it was the right choice in France.
But it seems that Spain is the place where these particular cuts are to be found, not France, where people look generally boring to me.
So if this cut looks bad on me I am going to be doubly humiliated because I travelled far out of my way to get it.
The reason I can reasonably justify it is because I'm going down to Lourdes, which is kind of near the Spanish border, to do a pilgrimage for my mom.
So I hope it goes well. Oh, it could go very wrong. But I'm going to take the risk! And I'll be coming fresh from praying plus obeying my mother, so God will probably be on my side. Although maybe he wants me to be a nun and this is his way of getting me in the convent, by trapping me with an unattractive hair cut that will be hard to grow out, thus making me unpopular with secular society.

hmmm...June 16 was your last post which means that you must have gotten the haircut by now (June 23)...so...since we haven't heard boo from you is it safe to imagine that it was a disaster (I hope not of course)? Oh the suspense!
